Little Rock Fashion Week 2010 Model Application

Excel, located in Little Rock, has been in business for 23 years. Melissa Moody has been nominated by the Who’s Who of America’s Teachers four years in a row and was a professional model for over 14 years. Excel is a member of the International Modeling and Talent Association and AIM International. Excel models have appeared in major publications such as; Italian Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, GQ, and W, and walked runways in NY, LA, Miami, Paris, and Milan. Its actors have appeared on Broadway, national television and in major films. Its singers and dancers have won the Grammy Award, American Music Award, and Teen Choice Award. Excel has received the International Educational Excellence Award in New York City four times. Excel received the International School of the Year Award in New York City in 1997 1998, and 1999. It was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in July 2000 and director of the Year Award from 2002-2008. 

                                   
                                     Antonio Jordan

Antonio Jordan is a Little Rock native who has traveled throughout the United States as a professional model. He has modeled in New York and Miami for various agencies such as; JG Model Management, Decorum Model Management and Ford Model Management.  In 2006 and 2007, Jordan walked the runways at New York Fashion Week. Many have seen him featured in full spread ads inside international magazines Krave and Supermodel Unlimited. 
                   


     




                                  Furonda Brasfield

                 America's Next Top Model Cycle 6

Furonda Brasfield, of Stuttgart, AR, entered onto the national scene as a contestant on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 6. Brasfield excelled, finishing in the top five. Before ANTM, Furonda began her modeling career as a Seven model. Since then, she has been featured on runways for pop star Beyonce’s “House of Dereon,” been in ads for “Ultra Glow” cosmetics, Sears, and Voom, and had television appearances on MTV’s Wild N’ Out and the CW hit Veronica Mars, in which she had a reoccurring role. Currently, she’s the owner of Model Me TV, a training course for aspiring models and actors. She is an advocate for the fight against HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, and juvenile delinquency. Brasfield is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

 
                                          

                                   Melissa Simas
                   KARK Ch. 4, 10 p.m. news anchor
Melissa Simas is the co-anchor for KARK 4 News at 10 p.m. A native of Taunton, Mass, Melissa made Arkansas home in 2002. Before coming to the Natural State, Simas worked at MSNBC in New York City, as a production assistant on "Hardball with Chris Matthews." While there she contributed to some major news stories, including the 2000 presidential recount, and the events surrounding September 11th. She has earned two Associated Press Awards. Also, her work has been acknowledged by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Simas graduated from Boston University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and a minor in Political Science. Melissa’s intelligence and warm personality have endeared her to viewers in Central Arkansas. 
                        
                            
                                                                    Brandon D. Campbell

Born and raised in Little Rock, Brandon D. Campbell is making strides to become an entertainment big wig. As a TV writer and producer, Campbell’s work has been featured on NBC, ABC, FOX, The CW, E!, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, VH1, and MTV. He’s received credits on notable programs such as; “E! Live from the Red Carpet...," “The Biggest Loser,” and WWE’s “Friday Night SmackDown,” As a show creator, he’s had two projects developed by E!. In 2006, while producing "Style Invades New York Fashion Week," the idea to bring fashion week to Little Rock manifested inside Campbell's soul. He is now living out his dreams, here in the capital city. His passion is creating opportunities and motivating others to maximize their potential. Campbell earned a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, with a minor in International Studies and Entrepreneurial Management certification at the University of Iowa.
